What to expect in a Reiki session

Reiki is administered on a massage table. You will be fully clothed for the duration of the session.

Our Reiki practitioner will gently move her hands above you, either close to the body or with a light touch. There are a range of treatment areas during the session, and each hand position targets a different portion of the body.  The head, shoulders, stomach, and feet may be gently held for 3 to 10 minutes, depending on the individual’s needs. For example, the practitioner may lay her palm softly on your forehead or at the sides of your face.

During the session, which normally last for 60 minutes, there is little to no talking.
